Call directly from the portal. It supports both on-net (user to user calling) as well as off-net (user to GSM and/or PSTN) calls. Using our WebRTC feature, users are able to make calls without the need to install any software or plugins. WebRTC is supported on Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox browsers.

Encryption – SRTP and TLS
All user to user communications, using our apps or the portal, are fully encrypted, that includes chat, audio and video calls. Calls to external numbers or to 3rd party hardware IP phones are not encrypted.
If you want to make sure that nobody is listening to your conversations with your colleagues and clients use our mobile apps or the portal for all your communication.
Video calls from the apps and portal
Using our solution, there’s no need for a dedicated desktop application or any IP Phone to make a video call. You can directly trigger a video call from your smartphone using our RCS dialer and/or directly from our portal if you’re in front of your computer.
Multidevice support – one account, many devices
Our solution allows your incoming calls to ring on all your devices at once. When at the office, you can take a call on your desk phone or on the portal. When outside of your office, you can use your smartphone to receive all your incoming calls as if you’re still at the office. Call history is synchronized between all your devices, along with chat sessions and your voicemail.
Instant messaging with file sharing
IM is a powerful and reliable mean of communication in every business. In callto.net you have IM across all platforms – on the web and via the apps. With support for typing notification, server-side history synchronization, multiple devices support and forking, our IM system keeps you connected and updated. Even if the app is closed, our PUSH notification feature makes sure you get alerted to all new incoming messages.
Additionally to chatting, you can now share files, send multimedia and your location with anyone. All sent messages are confirmed not only when delivered, by also when read.
Provisioning via SMS
To configure the mobile apps you do not have to put your hands on them. Instead just send an SMS with a short code to the mobile numbers of the devices. On receiving the code the app will be provisioned and ready to be used instantly. On iPhone a user has to type in the code.
Provisioning for devices
Bring your own devices. Our system allows for automated provisioning for the most popular devices – by simply entering the MAC address of the device in our VUC portal and then restarting the device.
Location sharing
Send your current location, or a place nearby or just any location – for example a meeting place. Send it via IM to another user or to a group. Geolocation works from smartphones and our portal.
Presence
Set your status by choosing from existing statuses or write your own status-text. The moment you publish it, all your contacts will see the change immediately.
Group chat
Create a group chat with up to 100 participants using typing notification, delivery confirmation, PUSH and synchronization features. Set a group-subject, an avatar and share any file with the group.
Company address book and cloud contacts
Company address book contains the details of profiles of all company users. The address book is available in our portal and mobile apps. Quickly find your colleagues in different branches and make or start a chat in one click.
Cloud-contacts is your personal address book with external phone contacts – It is shared via your apps.
Managed dialing plan
Using the dialing plans, you can associate virtual phone numbers or extensions with users or other PBX objects. You can also set time span scenarios by setting different associations depending on the time of the day and/or the day of the week.
Find me and Do Not Disturb
Decide whether and where to forward incoming calls to when they cannot be answered. You can forward them to voicemail, to another user or to an external phone number (recommended if you don’t have data plan on your smartphone).
You can also set different answering rules per caller ID – per example DND, forward calls directly to voicemail or to another number or user.

Voicemail
Voicemail to email delivery. Set personalized greetings for different caller IDs. Record greetings directly from the portal or the mobile apps.
Faxing
Email to fax, fax to email. Fax from web allows you to sending and browse faxes directly from your fax inbox.
Call Recording
Recording can be enabled per user. It will record all non-encrypted calls to and from the user (It will not record internal user-to-user calls if they are made using our apps). This feature is very useful to monitoring and reviewing the work of your employees. You can listen and see the list of all recorded calls from our portal.
Audio conferencing
Audio conference calls can be initiated directly from our mobile apps by merging multiple calls into a conference. You can join any conference directly from our web-portal and send a link to a guest user to join you as well. All conference rooms are kept on the server and their details can be fetched using our mobile apps or via the portal – you can check the phone number and username of all participants. As an admin, you have the option to remove any participant. A conference is connected with group chat.
Virtual phone numbers
Using our solution, you can buy a local or foreign number with 4 channels by default – up to 4 persons calling the number can be connected at the same time. You can add more channels on demand – for example an E1 trunk with 30 inbound lines (Note: the number of channels is only for inbound external calls. There is no limit on the number of outbound calls made by the users in your company).
We offer numbers from more than 80 countries. Within each country you can also choose an area or a city. You are also free to cancel a number at any time.
Accounts and PBX configuration from portal
As an admin user, you can create and manage accounts of your colleagues directly from the web portal. You can define branches, add extensions, virtual numbers and manage all PBX configurations. All through our comprehensive web panel which works on both desktop and smartphones.
